Who this policy covers

Visitors to theoryroad.com, anyone who contacts us through the site (for example, the “Brief us” form), and anyone who reaches theoryroad.com after clicking one of our links or ads. Engagements with partner brands are governed by a separate written master services agreement; the data practices for those engagements are described there.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), and the contents of your message.
• Usage & device data. Page views, referring URLs, approximate (country/region-level) location, browser and device type, and a randomized visitor identifier, collected via Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Session analytics. Microsoft Clarity captures aggregated interaction data — clicks, scrolls, and session replays — to help us understand and improve how the site is used. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies and may mask input fields; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Advertising & attribution.The Meta Pixel (and, where active, other ad-platform tags) may set first- and third-party cookies to measure performance and support retargeting. When you arrive via a Theory Road tracking link, we may record click identifiers (e.g. fbclid, gclid) to attribute the visit to its source campaign.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential engagements.
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.
• Measure marketing performance and attribute conversions to the campaigns and platforms that produced them.
• Build retargeting or similar audiences within ad platforms when we run paid promotion of theoryroad.com.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money.We share data only with the service providers and platforms needed to operate the site and our marketing, and as required by law. Using advertising cookies for retargeting may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (California) or “targeted advertising” (Texas and other states). • Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete your personal information;
• Obtain a portable copy of your data;
• Opt out of targeted advertising and the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information; and
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email t@theoryroad.com or follow our Data Deletion Instructions. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also opt out of most advertising cookies via the DAA opt-out and at the platform level (Meta ad preferences, Google Ad Settings). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where supported.

Data retention

Contact submissions are retained for up to 24 months. Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify an individual may be kept longer for historical reporting. On a verified deletion request, we remove personally identifiable data within 30 days.

Data security

We use industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

theoryroad.com is a business website not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

Theory Road operates in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
